How To Backup And Save Your Instagram Data

Not everyone knows about this, but you can back up and save your data. Follow these easy steps to download a copy of your valuable Instagram information, including photos, comments, and more.

On Desktop:

1. Log into your account on a desktop.

2. Go into your profile and click on the Menu (the 3 lines in the bottom left corner).

3. Click Your Activity.

4. Click “Download Your Information” on the left side

5. Choose your format.

6. Enter the email where you’d like to receive the information

6. Enter your Instagram password

7. Click 🖱️ ”Request Download”

On Mobile App:

1. Go to your Instagram profile and tap on the Menu (the 3 lines in the top right corner).

2. Tap Your Activity

3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Download your Information.

4. Tap “Request Download”.

5. Choose the correct account.

6. Select information.

7. Select file option and confirm the information.

8. Tap “Submit Request”.
